It’s a hot summer’s day – too hot to play indoors. What better way to cool off than heading into the garden for a wicked water fight!

In this free-for-all elimination water fight game, you’re trying to soak your friends with water balloons until there’s only one kid left with balloons to throw.

Our parents want us to play safely, so we have to keep our distance from each other. Luckily, there are loads of parts of the garden we can throw from, each with their own advantages.

The kids have their little arms full of water balloons (cards) – it’s really hard to carry them all! Water balloon cards provide different actions that target the colour printed on the card.

When using an action matching the colour of the space you’re on, the action can target any colour space (Colour Match). If an action is performed on a space that matches the action, the player performs a more powerful action (Action Match). Finally, if your action card matches the colour and action of the space you’re on, you throw a perfect shot and get to perform a super powerful move (Combo)!

The four actions printed on the water balloon cards are:

  • Throw (Player on target colour space discards two random cards).
    • Colour Match: Target any other location.
    • Action Match: Choose discarded colours.
    • Combo: Take one discarded colour.
  • Move (Swap places with target colour space).
    • Colour Match: Target any other location.
    • Power Match: Move anyone.
    • Combo: Move everyone, anywhere.
  • Refill (Draw up to two cards of target colour).
    • Colour Match: Draw up to two cards of any colour.
    • Power Match: Draw up to three cards of target colour.
    • Combo: Draw and reveal five cards, keep three.
  • Steal (Take a card off player on target colour).
    • Colour Match: Target any other location.
    • Power Match: Take two cards, keep one.
    • Combo: Take two cards, keep one, discard the other.
